‘The Bachelor’ Host Chris Harrison Eying Return to ABC Show After Seeing ‘Race Educator’ amid Controversy

Chris Harrison, the host of ABC’s popular reality show The Bachelor , is looking to return after an indefinite hiatus amid calls for his permanent removal over charges of racism. Harrison told Good Morning America co-host Michael Strahan this week that he’s sought guidance from a “race educator” and talked about advise he’s received from leftist professor and cancel culture opponent Michael Eric Dyson. “Harrison says he’s been working closely with a quote race educator and strategist along with faith leaders and scholars like Dr. Michael Eric Dyson,” Strahan said. “Dr. Dyson often talks to me about counsel, not cancel and that is full accountability understanding what you didn’t understand. Owning that, learning that, seeking counsel often in the community that you hurt. Learning from them, listening, gaining experience, knowledge, and moving forward,” Harrison said. Harrison told Good Morning America’s Michael Strahan that he plans to return to the show as soon as … [Read more...] about ‘The Bachelor’ Host Chris Harrison Eying Return to ABC Show After Seeing ‘Race Educator’ amid Controversy

2 City Councilmen Indicted For Mail-In Voting Fraud

Two Paterson, New Jersey city council members were indicted by a state grand jury for alleged election fraud related to a May 2020 special election, state Attorney General Gurbir S. Grewal announced Wednesday. The investigation began after Paterson City Councilman Alex Mendez, won the May special election to fill a council seat. Voter fraud claims soon surfaced, however. The U.S Postal Inspection Service alerted Grewal’s office that “numerous” mail-in ballots were found stuffed in a Haledon mailbox. Hundreds of mail-in ballots were also discovered stuffed in a Paterson mailbox, according to Grewal’s announcement . Grewal charged Mendez, Paterson City Councilman Michael Jackson and two others in June. Mendez allegedly approached multiple voters in Paterson – where he was running for office – to collect their official mail-in ballots for delivery. Grewal’s office alleged Mendez delivered the ballots to the Passaic County Board of Elections “without information identifying the … [Read more...] about 2 City Councilmen Indicted For Mail-In Voting Fraud

Majority of states considering bills limiting transgender access

Legislators in more than half the states are debating bills to limit access to sports or medical care for transgender people, opening a new front in the wars over LGBT rights that threaten to spill into the courts. Across the nation, at least 35 bills have been introduced to ban transgender students from playing sports in leagues that conform to their gender identity. Another 25 bills would prohibit access to gender-affirming medical care, in some cases with criminal punishments for parents who approve the care or doctors who perform it. None have passed measures that would block minors’ access to medical care, which usually involves medication to delay puberty. But for the first time this year, anti-transgender legislation is making significant progress in multiple states at the same time.
