South Dakota GOP Sen. Mike Rounds has drafted a bill that would help wealthy Chinese buy citizenship — and would also help steer investment away from the heartland states towards the increasingly wealthy states on the coasts. The giveaway for the wealthy Chinese lenders is buried on page 85 of Rounds’ draft bill, which offers a “parole” shortcut around the backlog of Chinese who are now waiting in line for EB-5 green cards:The Secretary of Homeland Security, in the Secretary’s discretion, may temporarily parole into the United States, under such conditions as the Secretary may prescribe, any alien who is the beneficiary of a petition for immigrant status [once] 3 years or more have elapsed since the petition was filed. This parole language gives a citizenship shortcut to the foreigners who lend money to the U.S. real-estate industry in exchange for green cards via the EB-5 program. The program is such a giveaway that 73,000 foreigners have joined the … [Read more...] about GOP Sen. Mike Rounds Pushes EB-5 Visa Bill Which Aids Chinese, Indian Migrants, Coastal Cities

close Video 'Legends & Lies - Gettysburg: The High Water Mark' The North turns back the South's invasion after a heroic bayonet charge led by Maine's Joshua Chamberlain -- and the doomed Confederate charge led by General George Pickett. As Washington continues to seem more and more partisan, it’s important to remember that things have been much more hostile in the past. For instance, on Nov. 19, 1863, President Abraham Lincoln gave a speech at the dedication of the Soldiers’ National Cemetery in Gettysburg, Pa. The cemetery was established to bury the fallen Union soldiers who had died in July that year during the Battle of Gettysburg. (CNN)"I don't want to be a flat earther," David Weiss says, his voice weary as he reflects on his personal awakening. "Would you wake up in the morning and want everyone to think you're an idiot?" But Weiss is a flat earther. Ever since he tried and failed to find proof of the earth's curve four years ago, he's believed with an evident passion that our planet is both flat and stationary -- and it's turned his world upside down. "I absolutely freaked out," Weiss tells CNN in a phone interview. "It literally whips the rug out from underneath you." Now, Weiss finds it tedious to associate with the majority of people -- though he "unfortunately" still has some friends who believe in a round earth. "I have no problem with anybody that wants to believe we live on a ball. That's their choice," he says. "It's just not something I resonate with." Weiss' preferred community is those who share his life-altering belief. Read More And that community is vast. This week, the businessman … [Read more...] about The flat earth conspiracy is spreading around the globe. Does it hide a darker core?
BRYCE ON POLITICS- And may very well violate the Constitution.Click for AUDIO VERSION.The impeachment inquiry of President Trump has taken center stage in the political campaign of 2020, even to the point of overshadowing press coverage of the Democrat presidential candidates. The inquiry focuses on a statement from an alleged whistle-blower who expressed concern regarding a telephone call the President had with the incoming President of the Ukraine. As of this writing, the whistle-blower's identity remains anonymous. Frankly, we do not know if this is one person or several as the complaint appears to have been written by a team of lawyers. As a result, the President and his representatives cannot ask questions of his accuser.I have tried to look at this from both sides, Republican and Democrat, and took the position; what if this was President Obama being impeached and not President Trump? Be it Republican or Democrat, I came to the same conclusions. The protection of the … [Read more...] about The Whistle-Blower Rule is Wrong
