BOSTON (CBS) — All Massachusetts residents 16 and older are going to be eligible for the coronavirus vaccine starting on Monday. This is roughly 1.7 million people. On Saturday, Gov. Nearly Half Of Nursing Home Workers In Pennsylvania Have Declined COVID-19 Vaccine, State Data Shows
PHILADELPHIA (CBS/AP) – Nearly half of nursing home workers in Pennsylvania have declined to receive the COVID-19 vaccine, according to Pennsylvania Department of Health data. The data released Thursday shows low rates of vaccination among nursing home staff and higher rates of vaccine declined by staff, compared to residents. Statewide, about 45% of staff declined the vaccine while only 12% of residents declined. About 50% of nursing home staff are vaccinated, even though the shots have been available to them for months, compared to 77% of residents. New Jersey Opening Up COVID-19 Vaccine Eligibility To Anyone 16 Or Older Starting Monday
TRENTON, N.J. (CBS) — The CDC says half of the United States adults have now received at least one COVID-19 vaccine dose. In the Philadelphia region, New Jersey will open up eligibility to anyone 16 or older Monday. The state will join Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and Delaware in offering the shots to everyone in Phase 2. You have been touting how effective the vaccine is.
