Meanwhile, he makes videos for a YouTube audience of 1.6 million subscribers. He also knows things can change. Susan Boyle, Shin Lim and Tape Face are among the acts who will be competing alongside Oklahoma City ventriloquist and 2017 "America's Got Talent" winner Darci Lynne Farmer on the new "America's Got Talent: The Champions."As previously reported, Darci Lynne confirmed last month that she would be on the new series, and NBC announced today the first group of superstar acts who will compete on the all-new winter edition of TV’s No. 1 alternative series, “America’s Got Talent: The Champions,” premiering from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday, Jan. 7. Terrifying Trapeze Act Goes Badly Wrong On ‘America’s Got Talent’
Tyce, who is legally blind in one eye, was blindfolded before attempting the final trick in their routine, hanging upside down as his wife Mary dropped from above."Well, we wanted to step up our act, so we added some new elements that we've never worked with before with the fire and a blindfold", Mary said. The judges and audience reacted with horror, and Mary's mother, in the audience with the couple's two-year-old son Jaxx, recoiled. The visibly distressed grandmother grabbed the little boy close before covering her face after Mary fell to the ground.She tells us about the one injury she suffered from the fall. He missed grabbing her ankle and she went careening toward the floor - headfirst.Concerned husband Tyce was lowered to the ground where he gave his wife a kiss of of condolence as the audience cheered.She and Tyce offered to do the stunt again but the judges were having none of it - adamant that Mary and Tyce had done more than enough to qualify for the live shows.
