The White House made two major coronavirus announcements on Tuesday, one involving the total number of vaccines sent to states and territories every week and a second involving a new direct shipping program to underserved communities. President Joe Biden’s coronavirus response coordinator Jeff Zients first made both announcements during Tuesday’s COVID-19 briefing. The Nuggets on Wednesday unveiled the second half of their 2020-21 regular-season schedule, kicking off with a road game against the Grizzlies on March 12 before coming back to Denver for a five-game homestand. Former Nuggets forward Jerami Grant and center Mason Plumlee make their return to Ball Arena on April 6 when the Nuggets host the Pistons. Altitude will broadcast 35 of the 36 games with the exception of the April 1 matchup against the Clippers airing on TNT. Five games will play on ESPN, including games against the Warriors (April 12 and 23), Clippers (May 1), Lakers (May 3) and Jazz (May 7). All 36 games can be heard on the radio on 92.5 FM and 950 AM. And things are not getting any easier for a team that is barely hanging on to a playoff spot at the moment. Boston’s first game back from the All-Star break will feature a rematch with the Nets in Brooklyn on March 11. Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant embarrassed the Celtics in Boston on Christmas Day to the tune of 123-95, and that was before Brooklyn acquired James Harden. The two teams will also play in Brooklyn on Friday, April 23.
