Japan Wants to Throw COVID-19 Patients in Jail If They Refuse to Go to the Hospital
We should expect that Japan’s government will blame the new surge on the variant of COVID-19 first found in England, and perhaps even make up the data to prove it. (The Japanese government has become so infamous for falsifying data, that in a poll published by Nikkei newspaper in January 2019, 79 percent of the public said they didn’t trust government statistics.) Maybe we’re walking into a trap, and my tombstone will read, “I was told there would be focaccia.” … [Read more...] about The best way to enjoy the Bay Area’s food pop-ups is to embrace chaos
Patients Caught In Middle As UnitedHealthcare Drops Montefiore Health System Amid Contract Negotiations
“It seems to me that UnitedHealthcare is putting people who are among the most vulnerable to this pandemic at increased medical risk simply because you don’t think you are making enough money. End this dispute. Do your part, as one of the wealthiest corporations in the entire world, to help keep people alive. Don’t sell out the Bronx just to pad the bank accounts of you and your shareholders,” Dinowitz wrote. … [Read more...] about Patients Caught In Middle As UnitedHealthcare Drops Montefiore Health System Amid Contract Negotiations
