Getty Villa To Reopen April 21

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA) — The Getty Villa in Pacific Palisades will reopen on April 21 after more than a year of being closed due to the pandemic. Admission to the Getty Villa remains free, and advanced reservations will be again required to visit. However, the museum is limiting the daily number of available reservations to avoid overcrowding. The museum’s galleries that are too small to accommodate social distancing guidelines will be closed, and paths through the galleries and gardens will be one way. Huntington Library Reopens For First Time In Over A Year

SAN MARINO (CBSLA) – The famous Huntington Library in San Marino became the latest Los Angeles area museum to reopen to visitors for the first time since the coronavirus pandemic took hold back in March of 2020. La Brea Tar Pits Reopens Thursday For First Time Since March 2020

LOS ANGLES (CBSLA) – The famous La Brea Tar Pits in Hancock Park will reopen to the public Thursday for the first time in more than a year . (Getty Images) The La Brea Tar Pits, which is part of the Natural History Museums of Los Angeles County, is reopening for the first time since shuttering in March 2020 at the onset of the coronavirus pandemic. The Natural History Museum in Exposition Park reopened April 1. L.A. County is in the orange tier of the state’s reopening guidelines, which limits capacity to 50%. Tickets must be purchased in advance. Newly Remodeled Downtown Carnegie Library Reopens

By: KDKA-TV News Staff PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Saturday was reopening day for the Carnegie Library in Downtown Pittsburgh. Now, the library contains the second floor in addition to already having the lower floor and first floors of the building. Disneyland ticket sales open to California residents before reopening
