Picking the Right TV Q: I’d like a 70-inch television, but my wife says that our couch is too close to the wall in the den. I think she’s more concerned about the price. She’s cheap. How far away should you sit from a 70-inch set? My next Super Bowl party awaits your answer! A: You definitely don't want to sit too close or too far. There's a sweet spot to catch all the action, and it depends on the dimensions of your den. But there are other questions. Will you mount the TV on the wall or place it in an entertainment center? Where can you safely install such behemoths away from intense heat sources and glaring sun? Once you consider all these factors, though it's much easier to find the "right fit." Tap or click here for the formula to help you select the right sized TV for any room. Download YouTube Videos Q: Is there a way to download YouTube videos? There is a share button by the video but no download button. I want to save these videos in case owners take them … [Read more...] about Best TVs, YouTube downloads, using Google images and more: Tech Q&A

Two Denver officers caught on tape beating a man are fired
Anthony DeHerrera sat between his wife and son, holding their hands, as the news they had waited nearly two years to hear finally came Friday afternoon: Two Denver police officers caught on videotape during a 2009 beating of then-23-year-old Michael DeHerrera would lose their jobs. Officers Devin Sparks and Randy Murr were terminated effective immediately for “deceptive acts,” Manager of Safety Charles Garcia announced during a news conference at city hall. Sparks also was given a 30-day suspension for use of excessive force, although the suspension will have no actual effect because of the termination. “We cannot and do not tolerate dishonesty in any safety agency. We do not and cannot tolerate excessive force in any safety agency,” Garcia said. Seated in the front row, Anthony DeHerrera let out a big breath. Michael DeHerrera cracked a smile.“They kept telling us to have patience, and we did, and thank God they got it right,” Anthony DeHerrera … [Read more...] about Two Denver officers caught on tape beating a man are fired
ISIS Yearns To Be North Korea And Nine More Things You Won’t Believe About These Muslim LUNATICS
Earlier this month, The Atlantic published “What ISIS Really Wants” by Graeme Wood. Wood’s main point in the impressive piece is that al-Qaida and ISIS — also called the Islamic State — are totally different. Their goals are largely different. Their tactics are vastly different. And, in fact, the two groups generally can’t stand each other. The Islamic State is a caliphate modeled on the government regime proposed in the Koran. Its adherents view the system as a perfect and complete one which cannot be improved.Because the Koran decrees both slavery and crucifixion, the leaders of the Islamic State enthusiastically and … [Read more...] about ISIS Yearns To Be North Korea And Nine More Things You Won’t Believe About These Muslim LUNATICS
The Daily Caller Presents The Alphabet Of Racism: THE LETTER ‘H’
The Daily Caller’s alphabetical tour de force showing that absolutely everything is racist rolls unstoppably forth. Here are half a dozen things beginning with the letter ‘H’ that somebody, somewhere has deemed racist. In April, after Avril Lavigne released a video for her single “Hello Kitty,” The Daily Beast — among others — accused the Canadian pop star of the crime of “cultural appropriation” because the video showed Lavigne traipsing around Tokyo with some Japanese backup singers. Sushi and candy are involved. “[W]hat does Hello Kitty really mean?” the sad and confused writer at The Daily Beast actually asks at one point amid over 1,000 words. Any criticism of Michelle Obama — for her excessive vacations, say, or for her insistence on awful-tasting school lunches — is likely to be met with charges of racism. The same goes for criticism that could maybe, possibly include the first lady. Back in May, … [Read more...] about The Daily Caller Presents The Alphabet Of Racism: THE LETTER ‘H’
