Tori Spelling gets in ‘pretty big’ car crash: Pregnant star blames paparazzo for causing accident

LOS ANGELES - Pregnant reality star Tori Spelling snapped back at a paparazzo Monday after a scary car accident at her children's preschool. "Paparazzi chased me w/the kids 2school. I was trying to get away from him and had a pretty big accident," the expectant mama wrote on Twitter. "Took down whole wall of the school. He thn STILL got out to try to get pics," she tweeted, adding that 10 fellow moms chased him away. "Going to dr now to check on baby. I think its just shock." Her spokewoman later said the "Beverly Hills 90210" star and her children Stella, 2 ½, and Liam, 4, were unharmed. Spelling, 38, is expecting her third child with husband Dean McDermott this fall. A friend told that Spelling's car and the school wall both suffered "minor" damage. "Wht will it take? Someone dying for paparazzi to stop?" Spelling asked on Twitter. It's unclear if Spelling will attempt to press charges or seek an order or protection. Fellow Hollywood mom Nicole Richie won a restraining order against two shutterbugs in 2009 after a car crash. Tori Spelling reacts after husband Dean McDermott tweets topless photo of her: My breasts looked ‘bold and beautiful’

Humility isn't really Tori Spelling's strong suit, and even a Twitpic snafu couldn't get the reality star down. Just a little over a week after husband Dean McDermott accidentally tweeted a topless photo of the actress to his 80,000 followers, Spelling, 38, finally spoke out about the incident, saying that she was "shocked" and "devastated." But, she reasoned, "if you are ever going to have someone tweet a picture of your boobs, I would rather it happen now than any other time because when you are nursing, your boobs look better than ever, bold beautiful." PHOTOS: CELEB NIT TWITS - WHEN STARS OVERSHARE ON TWITTER And Spelling is choosing to keep things light: "I just had my nipples insured, so yeah, it's good." In the now-removed image, McDermott, 45, had posted an apparently innocuous photo of the couple's 4-year-old son Liam goofing around with a sticker on his forehead. Upon closer inspection, however, his followers spotted a topless Spelling in the shot, presumably because she had been nursing their third child in the background. "It was a complete accident obviously," McDermott told CNN. "I took a picture and I sent it and I did not see in the background..." The couple should be used to documenting such private moments, however - the two have been promoting the return with their Oxygen reality show, "Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood." "People say, 'Oh my God, it's utter chaos after two.' But it's not, it's great," Spelling said of raising three kids in the busy household. "You lost your mind after the second one, so...the third fourth and fifth, it's like you're so far gone, it's just kind of the same." Besides, she notes, despite the madness, working on the show gives the family license to spend plenty of time together. "We get to spend our whole day with our kids and just live our lives and there is a camera there sometimes," she said of the show. "But they are family as well. It is an easy thing and it is a great thing." Continue Reading

The end of the war: Tori Spelling reconciling with estranged mom Candy Spelling

After years of fighting, the Spelling family feud may come to a end. For the sake of her children, Tori Spelling is putting aside her differences with mom Candy, reports "They have been in communication," Dean McDermott, Tori's husband, told People on Monday during a trip to New York City. "Candy has seen the kids, which is what this is all about." McDermott also said Candy, 64, has met her grandkids, Liam, 2, and Stella, 1. "They had a blast," McDermott told Us magazine. "We're keeping everything private and in the family." This announcement comes months after Candy had written a public letter to Tori in response to the season finale of Tori's reality TV show, "Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood." Candy addressed the letter to: "MIDDLE-AGED REALITY SHOW STARS (LIKE MY DAUGHTER)." She went on to say that while she understands that many "middle-aged people" have "issues" about their upbringing, "a big party wasn't how I envisioned meeting my granddaughter for the first time; but, hey, this is Hollywood, and my grandchildren have become reality show props, too." Because of this disagreement, Candy didn't show up to granddaughter Stella's birthday party. The long-standing feud between mother and daughter emerged after the death of the family patriarch, Hollywood tycoon Aaron Spelling. He died two years ago, and ever since, the Spellings have been taking public jabs at one another. Now, however, the fighting may be over. When Asked if the two women would spend the holidays together, McDermott told Us, "I think so — it's the holidays, right?" Join the Conversation: Continue Reading

Dean McDermott’s ex nixed role with him and Tori Spelling reality series

Tori Spelling should thank her lucky stars — her hubby's ex passed up the chance to turn "Tori and Dean" into "Three's Company."  In her book "Divorce Sucks," Dean McDermott's ex-wife, Mary Jo Eustace, reveals that a producer approached her to appear on the reality show — and cause as much controversy as she could. The Canadian TV chef couldn't be blamed for wanting to stir things up: Her then-husband had an affair with the "90210" actress, then divorced her and married Spelling in 2006.In the tome — due Oct. 19 from Adams Media — the abandoned Eustace says she considered hitting the small screen to portray herself as a broken woman and gain public sympathy. She even toyed with how she would fit into the show: She could move in next door and make Dean's life a living hell. Or, she could take the "organic" route, as producers suggested, and "casually" confront Tori — for two to three hours. Eustace did end up meeting with the reality show's honchos, but decided that — although appreciative of the chance to air her dirty laundry — she'd leave that to Tori and Dean, thanks. Instead, she took on a different role: Protective mama. Eustace says that, at the very same meeting where she declined the TV offer, she threatened producers that if her son Jack ever appeared on the program again, there'd be trouble. "I said, 'If I ever again see my son with a black X across his face on the show without my permission, we'll be having a whole different type of conversation,'" she writes. She got her wish: Jack has not appeared on the show since. "I have managed to keep my son off the reality show and cast him in his very own and wonderfully private life," says Eustace, who's mostly glad she helped Jack avoid the pitfalls of child stardom. "I mean, seriously — remember the 'Diff'rent Strokes' kids? Enough said."LeBron James' fans were less than impressed by the NBA star's behavior at Tuesday's release party for the Interscope Continue Reading

Tori Spelling admitted to hospital for severe stomach pains days after family suffers same ailment

Tori Spelling has been in the hospital undergoing tests related to severe abdominal pain, Access Hollywood reports. A rep for the "Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood" star confirmed the actress was admitted into a medical facility Monday night after experiencing stomach pains and returned the following day for more tests. "Just out of the hospital," husband Dean McDermott wrote on Twitter after Spelling's first visit. "After a battery of tests, no conclusive answers. She still feels terrible. Hope it passes soon. She's in a lot of pain." Spelling, 36, isn't the first family member to suffer what she calls "The McDermott Family Bug." On the night of the Emmy Awards, McDermott, 42, also went to the hospital with what he called "a really bad stomach virus." "We're not ruling out appendix though," the actor wrote on Twitter. "Keepin an eye on it." Two days later on Sept. 22, the couple's 2-year-old son, Liam, suffered the same ailment. "Kids immune systems are amazing," McDermott tweeted. "Liam got the flu last night, and now he's fine. Simply amazing." Unfortunately for the couple, their 1-year-old daughter, Stella, also became ill two days after her older brother did. She also recovered quickly. Join the Conversation: Continue Reading

Tori Spelling talks about her new book

Tori Telling. By Tori Spelling. SSE. $24.95 Now six months pregnant and sharing her modest L.A. home with second husband Dean McDermott and1-year-old son Liam, Tori Spelling is spilling on a life lived in the glare of the tabloids in her new book, "sTori Telling" (Simon & Schuster, $24.95).How's the second pregnancy coming along? "It's definitely a little more challenging than the first one. I'm constantly lifting [Liam] up and it's getting hard with my belly." Your troubled relationship with your mother, Candy, is a constant theme in the book. Have you discussed what you wrote with her? "We're a completely nonconfrontational, noncommunicative family. That was always a problem so, no, we have not talked about it. At this point, we're happy to be in each other's lives." You spent a decade on "Beverly Hills, 90210" and reveal that "everyone in the cast pretty much slept with everyone else." Is it easier to tell us who didn't hook up? "I wanted to bring people into the world that they maybe didn't get to see behind the scenes, but telling who slept with whom, that's their stories to tell." But you do talk about Shannen Doherty's tendency to control the crew by throwing your name around. Was that a wake-up call? "I was really young and naïve. I was the producer's daughter and I was so scared of not fitting in and [not] being taken seriously. I really didn't know that anything like that would be going on. As time went by I kind of wised up." What was a typical night out like with the "90210" gang? "Compared to the crazy things you hear about now, oh gosh, we were tame. There was always a popular club for each different night of the week. We danced and hung out." Are you still close to any of your former castmates? "Jennie [Garth] and I actively keep in touch. We're both married and we both have kids. We were like sisters, always." What do you think are the biggest misconceptions about you? "Everyone's like, 'Oh, she has this perfect life' - they think that if Continue Reading
