The theater plans to show "Top Gun: Maverick" over the Memorial Day weekend. The new operator is Downers Grove-based Classic Cinemas, which runs a chain of theaters in the Chicago area. Not all of the La Grange Theatre's auditoriums will be open at the beginning, but they should be ready by July, Classic's CEO, Chris Johnson, said Monday. "We have our inspections Wednesday," Johnson told the Village Board. "If all goes well, we'll be in good shape and be ready to go for 'Top Gun.'" AURORA, Colo. (CBS4) – It’s been almost 10 years since the Aurora theater shooting, and ever since then Sandy and Lonnie Phillips have been on a mission. Their daughter, Jessica Ghawi, was among the 12 killed in the shooting. They responded by creating their original nonprofit, Jessi’s Message, which has since grown into Survivors Empowered. Four Counts Of Sexual Assault Has Been Charged Against Kevin Spacey
(CNN) — US actor Kevin Spacey has been charged with four counts of sexual assault against three men, Britain’s Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) said on Thursday . Spacey was also charged with one count of causing a person to engage in penetrative sexual activity without consent, the CPS said. The decision to charge Spacey “follows a review of the evidence gathered by the Metropolitan Police Service in its investigation,” the force said. DENVER (CBS4) – In the final show of the Denver Center for the Performing Arts Theater Company season, “Quixote Nuevo” promises to immerse audiences in the Tejano culture while delving into a storyline of individual purpose between life and death. (credit: DCPA) The show, based in the fictional border town of La Plancha, Texas, is a modern twist on the original tale of Don Quixote. The storyline follows the tale of a man, Quixote, who is struggling with conquering his inner struggles during his final stages of life.
