President Joe Biden’s American Jobs Plan — marketed as an “infrastructure” proposal by Democrats — would create a “Soviet-style economy” if enacted as law, Rep. Scott Perry (R-PA) said on SiriusXM’s Breitbart News Sunday with host Joel Pollak. Perry said the Biden administration’s proposal to spend $10 billion to create a “Civilian Climate Corps” and $20 billion to advance “racial equity” and “environmental justice” do not qualify as “infrastructure.” “This is not infrastructure,” he determined. “This is the same bait and switch that the Democrats always do when the current definition of theft or malfeasance doesn’t sit well with the American people, and so they just change the definition. Newly released footage shows the moment a New Mexico State Police trooper was killed during a February traffic stop by a man wielding a rifle. Officer Darian Jarrott pulled over a Chevy pickup truck on Feb. 4 and informed the driver his tints were too dark, according to video footage. Jarrott can be heard asking Omar Felix Cueva for his license and registration before asking Cueva to accompany him to the police cruiser to run information. After a few minutes of talking, Jarrott can be heard asking Cueva if he had a firearm on him after seeing one. “You mind if I take it off you for my safety,” Jarrott can be heard asking Cueva. Silicon Valley tech giants Apple and Google have blocked an update to the British government’s coronavirus contact tracing app from their respective app stores as the update shared the locations of users with the government, violating privacy regulations. An update to the National Health Service (NHS) COVID-19 app was intended to be released in time with the loosening of lockdown restrictions in the UK on Monday. The previous incarnation of the contact tracing app, which is still active on both Android and iOS devices, logs location data on a user’s device rather than it being sent to a centralised database. The app on the user’s device then compares the location data it holds against the NHS database to notify a user if an outbreak has occurred in a place they have visited. The new version of the app would see the location data directly uploaded to the government, rather than stored and handled locally, on the user’s device.
