Fully Vaccinated Americans Hopeful But Still Wary
NEW ORLEANS, LA. - Ally Dever lives in New Orleans, Louisiana, and hasn’t seen her parents since November 2019. Like so many Americans, she wants to be reunited with family, but is not willing to take the risk of getting them sick during the continuing COVID-19 pandemic. Her mother is 77 and her father is 87, living more than 1,100 kilometers away in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. “I just want to be able to hug my mom,” she told VOA. “I miss her.” Last month, Dever got a giant step closer to having that wish come true. Because she’s a mental health professional, she received both doses of a coronavirus vaccine. As a result, her chance of being infected with COVID-19 — or passing it on to those around her — is believed to be drastically reduced. And Dever isn’t alone. To date, nearly 25 million Americans (7.55% of the population) have been fully vaccinated against the disease, while twice that much (15.16% of the population) have received at least the first dose. The pace of … [Read more...] about Fully Vaccinated Americans Hopeful But Still Wary

I’ve known Andrew Breitbart since the 1990s when he was working with Matt Drudge to help produce that page, the Drudge Report, each and every day. He grew up in West Los Angeles, surrounded by liberals, father-in-law Orson Bean, the comedian. Sometime during the 1990s, the early 90s, Breitbart had an awakening. He was constantly questioning what was all around him, which was really extreme liberalism, and he became, as many of you in the audience know, a bulldog. He literally was an indefatigable bulldog for the conservative cause. He did things that nobody else has done on the Internet where there are a lot of players. He … [Read more...] about WATCH: Rush Limbaugh Honors Andrew Breitbart — March 1, 2012
