LOUIS- The newly renovated Gateway Arch Museum and Visitors Center is now officially open. National Park Service officials joined Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke, U.S. Sens. Claire McCaskill and Roy Blunt and others at a July 3, 2018 ceremony at the Gateway Arch in downtown St. Louis (Jill Enders photo) A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held this morning to mark the completion of the five-year project. Hundreds of tourists and St. Louisans braved the heat to see this moment in history. ST. LOUIS • A forensic examiner on Tuesday extracted data from Gov. Eric Greitens' cellphone and email account in a locked courtroom at the Mel Carnahan Courthouse in downtown St. Louis. ST. LOUIS COUNTY • Nicole Zellweger, an attorney in private practice, has been appointed by Gov. Eric Greitens as an associate circuit court judge for St. Louis County.Zellweger fills a vacancy left when Mary Elizabeth Ott, an associate judge since 2008, was appointed as a circuit court judge in February.Zellweger is a partner at Stinson Leonard Street LLP, where she concentrated her practice in franchise and distribution law, and in trust and estate law, according to her biography on the law firm's webpage.Zellweger is a past president of the Clayton Chamber of Commerce and of the board of directors for the Center for Women in Transition, according to a Friday news release from Greitens' office.She is a member of the Women Lawyers’ Association of Greater St. Louis and the Mound City Bar Association, and volunteers for Legal Services of Eastern Missouri.She received her law degree from Washington University in 2004.
