EAGLE PASS, Texas — The banks of the Rio Grande were flush with Texas Department of Public Safety troopers and Texas Army National Guard posted locally. Simultaneously, soldiers in patrol boats traversed the Rio Grande hoping to deflect migrant crossings away from the city. Thursday’s show of force appeared to push the larger migrant groups away, at least temporarily. Breitbart Texas looked on as DPS troopers placed vehicles side by side to block gaps in a “steel curtain” border wall installed under Operation Lone Star. Despite the efforts, some smaller migrant groups moved down river and still chose to ford the river. The smaller migrant groups immediately surrendered to soldiers. The migrants were ultimately turned over to responding Border Patrol agents. Eagle Pass has seen an increase in migrant apprehensions in recent months and now leads the nation as the border city with the most migrant crossings. Tiger cub found in Texas rapper’s home didn’t actually escape Dallas Zoo
Dallas rapper Trapboy Freddy, who legal name is Devarius Dontez Moore, was arrested on weapons charges Wednesday after police served the 30-year-old a federal warrant. However, police were surprised to also find a caged tiger cub inside the rapper's Oak Cliff home during a search. Animal Services was called to come collect the tiger during Moore's arrest, according to the Dallas Morning News , and the tiger is currently being held in protective custody at an undisclosed location. This tiger cub was found when Dallas police were assisting federal agents with a warrant at the home of Devarius Dontez Moore known as Rapper Trapboy Freddy. Multiple polls recently released by RMG Research showed vulnerable Democrats across the country are in danger of losing less than three months from election night. Texas’ Fifteenth Congressional District poll showed that Republican Monica De La Cruz would win against her Democrat opponent, Michelle Vallejo, according to an RMG Research poll of 400 likely midterm voters in the district from July 22 to 29. The poll’s margin of error was plus or minus 4.9 percent.
