Whoopi Goldberg stopped co-host Joy Behar midway through a Wednesday segment of “The View” to inform her that her mic had fallen into her breasts. Goldberg and Behar were discussing couples’ therapy when Behar’s voice began to come through the mic as if it were echoing or far away. Goldberg quickly identified the problem. Maybe it works before you get married and you have a few things to iron out, but after the horse is out of the barn, all it becomes is a bitching session about what’s wrong with the other person and then you say things, like, ‘He’s not a generous lover,’ and don’t think that that doesn’t stay in his head permanently, OK?” Behar said, voice echoing. “I have to tell you I think your mic is in your breasts,” Goldberg interrupted, as Behar began to speak again. “I … [Read more...] about ‘I Think Your Mic Is In Your Breasts’: Whoopi Goldberg Stops ‘The View’ As Joy Behar’s Mic Falls Down Her Shirt

Hollywood Celebrities Melt Down After Trump Acquitted, Declare 43 Republicans ‘Traitors,’ ‘Fascists’
Hollywood celebrities flew into a paroxysm of rage on Saturday after the Senate acquitted former president Donald Trump of inciting the Capitol Hill riots of January 6. Left-wing stars lashed out at the 43 Republicans who voted to acquit, calling them “traitors” and “fascists.” Anti-Trump celebrities including Alyssa Milano, Rob Reiner, Bette Midler, and Rosie O’Donnell led the collective meltdown. “It is a sad day in America when only 7 republicans have the patriotism and integrity to convict a tyrant,” Milano tweeted. The stars aimed much of their venom at Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY), saying that the former majority leader “has no soul.” As Breitbart News reported , the final Senate tally was 53 guilty versus 43 not guilty, falling short of the two-thirds majority needed to convict Trump. In the end, seven Republican senators voted to convict the former president — Sens. Burr, Cassidy, Collins, Murkowski, Romney, Sasse, and Toomey. I.M. Pei, architect of Denver’s 16th Street Mall and Louvre’s Pyramid, dies at 102
I.M. Pei, a dominant figure in American architecture for more than three decades who was connected to Denver’s 16th Street Mall and designed the Louvre’s crystal pyramid and the angular East Building of Washington’s National Gallery of Art, has died. He was 102. His son Chien Chung Pei said on Thursday that his father had died overnight, the New York Times reported. Pei gave “this century some of its most beautiful interior spaces and exterior forms,” said the jury of the Pritzker Architecture Prize, which Pei won in 1983. Though reserved and supremely diplomatic, Pei’s face, always crowned by round thick-rimmed glasses, could break unexpectedly into a wide, dazzling smile. He approached clients with charm and a quick wit, and they usually succumbed happily. “Mr. Pei is at once the most pragmatic and the most visionary of architects, his work poised skillfully between the demands of the real world and the dreams of art,” Paul Goldberger, architecture critic of the New York … [Read more...] about I.M.
