The 20-year-old giraffe started showing signs of mobility problems last summer, and veterinary imaging showed she had arthritis in her feet and problems in her left hind leg, the zoo’s veterinarians said in a statement. (CBSNewYork/AP) — The owner of a New York zoo planning to live-stream a giraffe giving birth said the video feed was briefly removed from YouTube because animal rights activists labeled it sexually explicit. Animal Adventure Park started streaming video Wednesday of 15-year-old April in her enclosed pen at the zoo in Harpursville, 130 miles northwest of New York City. PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — Tajiri, the famous son of April the giraffe will be remaining at New York’s Animal Adventure Park after all. The Harpursville, New York animal park announced on Facebook that Taj won’t be relocated to North Carolina and will instead be moving into a brand new building on the Animal Adventure campus.
