Tennessee's football coaching staff continues to mine the state of Georgia for talent as its first full recruiting class takes shape. The Volunteers picked up a verbal commitment Tuesday from edge-rusher Roman Harrison out of Bainbridge, Georgia in the southwestern portion of the state. Harrison is considered a three-star prospect by Rivals but has largely flown under the radar of most major college programs. The 6-foot-2, 230-pound prospect picked up scholarship offers from Georgia Tech, Tennessee and Michigan State recently, according to 247Sports. He is the 15th commitment of Tennessee's 2019 signing class and seventh from Georgia. Verbal commitments are non-binding. Prospects' first opportunity to sign will come in December. Harrison appears to have the build of an outside linebacker in Tennessee's 3-4 defensive scheme. His high school highlight reel features clips of him rushing the quarterback from a defensive end position. … [Read more...] about Vols add another Georgian to 2019 football recruiting class

On the flurry of early activity: "You're seeing more and more guys trying to make that decision before their senior season starts... they want to commit and play their senior year free from recruiting stuff that takes time away from their senior season." On what kind of player Cristobal is recruiting: "Fast and electric. But let's put a comma there because he's also going big and strong... he's putting together the best offensive line class Oregon has ever had... Oregon is lining itself up to have one of its best … [Read more...] about Canzano: Oregon Ducks football a lock for a Top 10 recruiting class?
