5:32 p.m. Marin County orders short-term rental facilities to close: In response to an influx of vacationers and visitors, Marin County health officials have ordered short-term rental facilities to cease all operation from 11:59 p.m. tonight through May 3. These include hotels, motels, vacation homes, bed and breakfasts, timeshares and other lodging facilities rented for 30 days or less.
