UPPER DARBY, Pa. (CBS) — A shooting at a Delaware County cemetery has left one person injured. Police are now trying to confirm if the incident is in retaliation for a shooting that, they say, happened in Philadelphia just days ago. Chopper 3 showed the aftermath of what was a frenetic burial for a recent gunshot victim at the Friends Southwestern Burial Ground. ‘The Whole Front Exploded,’ 2 Hurt As Car Crashes Into Boston Home
BOSTON (CBS) – Two people were hurt when a car slammed into the front of a house in Boston and the homeowner said it’s the sixth time that’s happened. Pauline Glynn said she and a friend were watching TV in her home on Poplar Street late Thursday night when she heard a “terrible noise.” A car hit her neighbor’s car and then crashed into her front door, just two feet from her head. 476 At Massachusetts Schools Test Positive For COVID-19 In Last Week
BOSTON (CBS) – There have been 476 new COVID-19 cases among students and staff in Massachusetts schools in the last week, according to the latest data from the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. Districts, collaboratives and special education schools reported 343 cases among students and 133 among staff members between February 25 and March 3. Both of those numbers are down from last week . Since September 24th, when the weekly release of data started, 7,157 students and 4,800 staff have tested positive. By: KDKA-TV News Staff PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – The Heinz Field COVID-19 vaccine clinic will be offering more appointments. READ MORE: Pittsburgh Weather: Chillier Temperatures And Sunshine Start The Weekend Giant Eagle announced that it’s extending the clinic after “an overwhelmingly positive response.” Additional appointments will be made available through Giant Eagle’s online scheduling tool. These appointments will be for March 8 through March 9, and they’ll be available Friday afternoon. Giant Eagle says more appointments may be added as vaccine is received.
