This is the second time the website has ranked the 30 best and worst airports in the U.S. and the second time Phoenix Sky Harbor has gotten the top spot. The ranking, conducted every other year due to the slow rate of changes at airports, highlighted Sky Harbor’s on-time performance, proximity to downtown Phoenix and amenities such as nursing rooms, animal-relief areas, local restaurants and even spas. Neither the 29-year-old man who drove the rental car nor his 19-year-old female passenger have been publicly identified. The man was issued a civil parking ticket for "prohibited parking per sign or red curb," a Phoenix City Code, police said Monday. It carries with it a $52 fine. That fine is aside from the $75 towing fee he must also pay. "No other charges are being sought at this time," Phoenix police said. A study released this week claims that Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport is one of the 10 most dangerous for connecting to public Wi-Fi. But is it, really? Coronet, a tech-security company based in Tel Aviv, analyzed 250,000 devices in the vicinity of the 45 busiest airports in the United States to estimate the vulnerability of the Wi-Fi they're using. Each airport was assigned a "vulnerability score" based on the security of the internet connections within 0.6 mile of the airport.
