Week-Long Operation Leads To 145 Arrests In LA County
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA) – Authorities Thursday announced that 145 arrests were made in Los Angeles County during a recent statewide operation investigating human trafficking. Human trafficking involves the use of force, fraud, or coercion to obtain some form of labor or commercial sex act. LOS ANGELES (CBSLA) – A majority of victims of violent crime in Los Angeles County feel the criminal justice system failed them and that resources should be invested in crime prevention instead of incarceration, according to a poll released Thursday by a nonprofit group.
