BOSTON (CBS) — A giant piece of scaffolding was blown off a Boston building, scattering debris into a backyard and pool. What’s left of it was stuck in a tree, but on Tuesday morning crews were waiting for the wind to calm down before removing it. It happened on Alphonsus Street in Roxbury. BOSTON (AP) — Six Dr. Seuss books — including “And to Think That I Saw It on Mulberry Street” and “If I Ran the Zoo” — will stop being published because of racist and insensitive imagery, the business that preserves and protects the author’s legacy said Tuesday. “These books portray people in ways that are hurtful and wrong,” Dr. Seuss Enterprises told The Associated Press in a statement that coincided with the late author and illustrator’s birthday. “Ceasing sales of these books is only part of our commitment and our broader plan to ensure Dr. Seuss Enterprises’ catalog represents and supports all communities and families,” it said. Kim Kardashian Sued For Sharing Photo Of Herself On Personal Instagram
A photographer has sued reality star Kim Kardashian for the use of a photo. Kim reportedly shared a photo of herself and Kanye West taken by photographer Saeed Bolden to her Instagram, according to a report published Thursday by Page Six . Bolden then filed a lawsuit Wednesday in Brooklyn federal court against Kim and her brand SKIMS, claiming the “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” star did not ask for permission to use the photo. The photographer is suing for unspecified damages. The photo was allegedly taken by Bolden in 2018 at a listening party for Nas’ album “Nasir.” Months later, Kim shared the photo to her now 157 million Instagram followers.
