1945-2018Marsha Ann Nielsen Edman passed away Thursday, April 12, 2018 in Payson, Utah. She was born August 3, 1945 in Spanish Fork, Utah, to Lars Lavar and Isabel Davis Nielsen.Marsha prided herself in her intelligence, and told stories of her competitiveness during her school years. She was voted Student Body Secretary in high school, and participated in several extracurricular activities. She graduated from Spanish Fork High School as Class Valedictorian in 1963. She also earned a full ride scholarship to BYU as a Sterling Scholar in English.Marsha married John Nick Edman, September 3, 1966, and raised their four children in Salem. Marsha devoted herself to her children and, later, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Though she said she would have loved to have been a lawyer (and likely a good one), she reported no regrets in putting all of her efforts into her family.Marsha was very generous, and would love and serve anyone who came into her life. Brigitte Nielsen of ‘Creed II’ isn’t happy with this Philly restaurant
You never know who you’re talking to, which is why being nice is always the way to go. Actress Brigitte Nielsen, famous for her roles in “Rocky IV” and “Red Sonja,” is in town filming for “Creed II,” and stopped into Zavino’s in University City. Apparently, the manager had an issue with Nielsen’s service dogs and the actress posted about the experience on her Instagram. Yikes! She did say she was enjoying Philadelphia, however, and that people, for the most part, are nice here. HughE Dillon Philly Chit Chat told us that Nielsen also stopped by Gran Caffe L’Aquila on Tuesday and enjoyed some gelato.
