Study: 1986 Amnesty Invited a Surge of Immigration, Terrorism, Fraud
The last widespread amnesty, signed by former President Ronald Reagan in 1986, invited a surge of immigration to the United States, allowed terrorists to stay in the country, and inflated fraud, according to a new study. This month, President Joe Biden unveiled the details of his amnesty plan which would legalize the roughly 11 million to 22 million illegal aliens currently in the U.S., fly deported illegal aliens back to the country to receive amnesty, and increase legal immigration levels, among other things. UK Court Blocks Parents From Moving Comatose Son to Hospice
LONDON (AP) – A British court has rejected a request from the parents of a comatose boy to allow them to move their son to a hospice when hospital doctors withdraw his life-support treatment. Barring any further legal action, the decision would open the door for doctors at the Royal London Hospital to end life-sustaining treatments for 12-year-old Archie Battersbee. He has been in a coma since early April and doctors believe he is brain dead. “I return to where I started, recognizing the enormity of what lays ahead for Archie´s parents and the family. Their unconditional love and dedication to Archie is a golden thread that runs through this case,” High Court Judge Lucy Thies wrote. “I hope now Archie can be afforded the opportunity for him to die in peaceful circumstances, with the family who meant so much to him as he clearly does to them.” Archie´s care has been the subject of weeks of legal battles as his parents sought to force the hospital to continue life-sustaining … [Read more...] about UK Court Blocks Parents From Moving Comatose Son to Hospice

Twenty Democrats have hedged on supporting President Joe Biden’s reelection in 2024. While Biden has claimed he will run for reelection despite sagging poll numbers after 40-year-high inflation, recession, and the deadly Afghan withdrawal, 20 Democrats have refrained from openly supporting Biden in 2024. Two other Democrats, Reps. Angie Craig (D-MN) and Dean Phillips (D-MN), have outright denied supporting the president’s hopes of winning reelection. 1: Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) “We’ll cross that bridge when we get to it,” Ocasio-Cortez told CNN in June. “If the president has a vision and that’s something we’re all willing to entertain and examine when the time comes … we should endorse when we get to it. We’ll take a look at it.” 2: Rep. Carolyn Maloney (D-NY) “I don’t believe he’s running for re-election,” Maloney admitted in a debate this week. 3: Rep. Jerry Nadler (D-NY-10) “Too early to say,” Nadler also told the … [Read more...] about Midterm Strategy: 20 Democrats Hedge on Supporting Joe Biden in 2024
