Ken Dodd, 90 Ken Dodd's publicist confirmed in the small hours of March 12, 2018, that the comedian had passed away aged 90. The comedy legend fell ill with the flu on January 12 and was in hospital with a severe chest infection that came about as a result. He spent nearly a week being cared for by medics. Emma Chambers, 53 Emma Chambers passed away on February 24, 2018, of natural causes. The actress captured international attention for her secondary role in the 1999 Hugh Grant and Julia Roberts comedy Notting Hill, and played Alice Tinker in BBC sitcom The Vicar of Dibley. Mark Salling, 35 Mark Salling was found dead after pleading guilty to child porn charges. The streaming service in March is bringing subscribers lots of bleak European crime drama and a sequel to the hit Antarctica documentary "March of the Penguins." The crime fare includes complete seasons of the Danish series "The Bridge" (the basis for the FX series of the same name) and "Veni Vidi Vici," and the original series "Hard Sun," with Jim Sturgess and Agyness Deyn, as wary police partners in a pre-apocalyptic Britain. "March of the Penguins 2: The Next Step" is one of Hulu's first forays into documentary television, co-starring a cast of hundred emperor penguins. Prince’s estate block release of new music
Prince's estate have successfully won a lawsuit to block the release of unheard music by the singer. Producer George Boxill claimed to have a collection of unreleased songs he worked on with the late musician - who died in 2016 - between 2006 and 2008 and planned to release them himself, even making one track available to buy on iTunes briefly last year. But the 'Kiss' singer's estate filed legal documents threatening to sue Boxill back in April last year and demanded he return the music to them. It was claimed Boxill signed a confidentiality agreement when he worked with the star which stated all recordings, "would remain Prince's sole and exclusive property". The producer is also said to have agreed he, "would not use any recordings or property in any way whatsoever." TMZ.com has now obtained legal documents which reveal Boxill never responded to the newly filed lawsuit, and the deadline of January 23 has now passed.
