No other entity in the State of Florida produces more revenue than MIA – not even Disney World can touch the $31 billion the airport generates a year. Just beyond those newly remodeled steel and glass terminals, thousands of workers toil in extreme conditions. Baltimore School For The Arts Student Mia Dyer Named 2021 Recipient Of Scholastic Art And Writing Award
BALTIMORE (WJZ) — A Baltimore School for the Arts student recently won a prestigious regional award. Mia Dyer is a junior at the school. She’s been named a 2021 recipient of the Scholastic Art and Writing Award. Walking in the halls of the Baltimore School for The Arts, Dyer knows there’s great history in the building, but she was reluctant to admit she’s now part of the illustrious history. JetBlue Begins Service At Miami International Airport
MIAMI (CBSMiami) – JetBlue flights are taking off from Miami International Airport for the first time. The airline will fly 14 flights a day from Miami – split between Newark, JFK, Boston and Los Angeles. Miami-Dade County Ends Contract With Airport Maintenance Company; Eulen America Responds With Statement
MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava has fired a company that cleans many airplanes at Miami International Airport. The mayor ended the contract of Eulen America, a company beset by allegations of worker abuse and intimidation. Miami-Dade commissioner Eileen Higgins had called for the contract to be ended. Higgins says she saw first-hand Eulen employees who were being bullied during an airport tour. ‘Allen v. Farrow’ renews questions about Woody Allen, and separating art from the artist
(CNN) Woody Allen didn't cooperate with "Allen v. Farrow," a four-part HBO docuseries that goes beyond tabloid headlines in examining the director's relationship with Mia Farrow and sexual-assault allegations by their daughter Dylan. Extensive access to the Farrows makes this an intimate look at that history, while renewing questions about separating art from the artist and Hollywood's embrace of problematic figures. Directors Kirby Dick and Amy Ziering ("The Hunting Ground") draw upon a rich trove of material -- some previously unheard and unseen -- including recorded conversations between Allen and Farrow, court documents and home movies.
