Mexico’s president is offering to curb Central American migration if President Joe Biden lets more Mexicans take U.S. jobs needed by Americans, according to Bloomberg news. The site reported Mexico’s offer on Sunday: “President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador said that he would propose the plan to U.S. President Joe Biden at a summit on climate change on Thursday. He said the plan could create more than a million jobs and that participants in the reforestation program should be given a chance to obtain U.S. work visas and, eventually, even U.S. citizenship. “This would allow us to order the flow of migration, which overflowed in March,” Lopez Obrador said in a video posted on Sunday from his ranch in the southern state of Chiapas. […] “This is the way to strengthen productive commercial and economic activities of North America,” he said. “If we don’t unite in the Americas, Asia will out pace us.” “As a fossil-fuel nationalist, AMLO [Obrador] has so little to offer on … [Read more...] about Mexico’s President Obrador Offers Deal to Joe Biden: Work Visas for Border Security
President Joe Biden’s administration is being pressed to disclose where the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) are sending border crossers and illegal aliens in the United States. As of April 10, Breitbart News exclusively reported , the Biden administration has released nearly 42,000 border crossers into the U.S. interior while about 6,400 more have been released after having been enrolled in the now-defunct “Remain in Mexico” program. Those released into the U.S. interior by the Biden administration can quickly apply for one-year work permits to take American jobs after they travel throughout the country, usually on Greyhound buses, until they reach their final destination. A group of House Republicans, led by Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-TX), is now asking the Biden administration to disclose where border crossers and illegal aliens are being resettled: The widespread abuse and criminality does not end at the border, because as … [Read more...] about Joe Biden Pressed to Disclose Where Illegal Aliens Are Being Sent in U.S.
Former President George W. Bush says the United States needs more foreign workers to take American jobs, even as nearly 17 million Americans are unemployed. During an interview with the Today morning show, Bush said President Joe Biden’s administration ought to increase legal immigration levels to fill American jobs with more foreign workers as the U.S.-Mexico border is overwhelmed with skyrocketing illegal immigration. “We need to change the work visas,” Bush said. “There are a lot of jobs that are empty and there are a lot of jobs that need to be filled. And yet there are people willing to work hard to do so … a combination of those two would help alleviate some of the border.” Already, the U.S. annually admits about 1.2 million legal immigrants on green cards to permanently resettle in the country. In addition, another 1.4 million foreign workers are admitted every year on visas to take American jobs. Despite Bush’s claims, research has continuously debunked business … [Read more...] about George W. Bush Says U.S. Needs More Foreign Workers to Take Jobs as 16.6M Americans Unemployed
Republicans from various factions in the GOP are racing to distance themselves — and the party at large — from a band of hard-line House conservatives whose flirtation with forming a caucus espousing white nationalist views has ignited a firestorm of controversy on Capitol Hill. GOP leaders, anti-Trump centrists and vulnerable Republicans in battleground districts wasted little time in recent days denouncing the “America First Caucus,” whose stated purpose in a platform document included the defense of America as a nation “strengthened by a common respect for uniquely Anglo-Saxon political traditions."
