GARLAND, Texas (CBSDFW.COM) – Police in Garland are searching for a man who allegedly shot and killed his girlfriend with her two children nearby at an apartment complex Saturday evening. Police say they responded to a complex in the 2900 block of West Walnut at around 9 p.m. and located two children who were crying and asking for help. MCKINNEY, Texas (CBSDFW.COM) – An arrest has been made after a 27-year-old man was found dead in an apartment in McKinney by a gunshot that came from another unit, police say. Police say they responded to a call at around 5 p.m. Friday at an apartment complex in the 1900 block of Grassmere Lane. NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — Two NYPD officers were shot after responding to a 911 call Sunday in Brooklyn. The suspect is under arrest this morning, and both officers are expected to make full recoveries.
