(CBS DETROIT) – Police are searching for suspects that fired shots into a crowd at a gathering, killing one person and injuring others. The incident happened on Sunday, June 19, at about 10:15 p.m. in the area of Healy and Stockton. Five victims were struck, and one 24-year-old man was fatally wounded. Another 24-year-old man was listed in critical condition at a local hospital and is still being treated for his injuries. AURORA, Colo. (CBS4) – Police in Aurora have arrested a suspect in the deadly shooting over the weekend on Interstate 70. The incident happened Saturday evening in Aurora along I-70 between Tower Road and Colfax Avenue. PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — Philadelphia police are asking for the public’s help identifying the suspect wanted in the fatal shooting of an elderly man out on a morning walk on Tuesday. Police say 77-year-old Loi Nguyen was shot and killed steps away from his home while finishing up his daily walk on the 4200 block of L Street Tuesday morning. Police have released surveillance video from the shooting in hopes of identifying the suspect. PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — A third-degree murder charge has been dropped against Jayana Webb, the woman accused of striking and killing two Pennsylvania state troopers and a man who the troopers were trying to help. A judge dropped the charge at Webb’s preliminary hearing Wednesday. Webb’s defense attorney says the commonwealth failed to prove his client acted with malice. But Webb is still charged with manslaughter, homicide by vehicle and DUI. Noah Day, 22, of Elkton, Md., was pronounced dead. Police said the driver, an unnamed 44-year-old man from Berlin, remained on the scene.
