Robbery, Clemens Road: A BP gas station attendant called police about 5:15 a.m. April 25 to report she had been robbed by two males. The males did not show her a gun, but one said: "We're robbing you, give me all of your money." One of the males also showed the clerk what she believed was a weapon, possibly a hammer, in his pocket. The clerk was not injured, just scared. The males took a small amount of cash and merchandise and left on foot. Night shift officers soon located the two males leaving the scene on foot. With the help of Bay Village police, both males soon were in custody near the Red Roof Inn on Clemens. Officers also captured their suspected getaway driver, who had been waiting for the suspected robbers. The three males, one from Westlake, one Cleveland, and one homeless, were all 18 years old. Officers charged the two who went into the store with aggravated robbery and the driver with felony complicity to robbery. Police investigated and talked to another resident, who had extinguished an outdoor fire. The second resident was advised of local burning ordinances. Drug paraphernalia, Douglas Lane: During the 1 a.m. hour of April 17, an officer approached a man unconscious behind the wheel of a parked car. MAYFIELD VILLAGE, Ohio Disturbance, Wilson Mills Road: A woman said April 12 she got into an argument with another woman at the gas pumps at True North Shell and the woman spat on her vehicle. The suspect left before officers arrived, but was identified as a Chester woman, 21, and later came to the station, where she was cited for disorderly conduct. Civil matter, Wilson Mills Road: An employee of a tanning salon said April 17 a former employee was harassing her through text messages. Officers reviewed the messages and determined they were not harassing in nature, but could be considered slanderous to the business. She was advised to contact the company's attorney. Theft, SOM Center Road: A Chardon woman, 52, was arrested at Heinen's April 17 for the suspected theft of $40 worth of groceries. File photo SEVEN HILLS, Ohio -- Theft, Falling Leaf Drive: On April 5, police were dispatched to Falling Leaf Drive regarding missing construction materials. An arriving officer talked to the contractor at the home construction site. The Sagamore Hills Township man said that the day before, he dropped off eight packages of wire. When he arrived at the job site the next day, the wire was missing. The house, which was only framed, didn't have walls, doors or windows. The thief had to use a ladder to get into the basement. The man said he contacted his insurance company, as well as local scrapyards about the missing items. There are no suspects. Police are investigating. File photo Weapons under disability, Ridge Road: During a March 30 traffic stop, police discovered a Cleveland man and Parma resident were in possession of crack cocaine and a loaded gun found under the driver's seat. They were both arrested for drug abuse and having weapons while under disability. Drug abuse, Allanwood Drive: On March 31, a resident called police regarding a suspicious person seen walking around homes on Allanwood Drive. An arriving officer located the Doylestown woman. While searching her, police found suspected felony drugs and paraphernalia. She was arrested for drug abuse and possession of drug paraphernalia. Pod theft, Day Drive: On March 31, a Giant Eagle employee observed a man and woman enter the store and put 18 Tide Pod packages into empty shopping bags. The couple then left the store.
