One’s a gathering in a lush forest; the other’s a lively street fair. Here are the details: The Kings Mountain Art Fair, now in its 55th year, is considered one of California’s top such events, with 135 juried artists from the United States and Canada gathering to create a gallery among the redwoods of Woodside. Launched in 1963 as a fundraiser for the remote Kings Mountain community, that first event made a $50 profit for the volunteer fire company. This year’s fair will include a Kiddie Hollow for budding artists and a Meet the Firefighters booth.
