Against significant odds, the NFL completed its 269-game season Sunday night when Tampa Bay walloped Kansas City 31-9 in the Super Bowl. But the coronavirus pandemic isn’t going anywhere and will impact a second consecutive offseason. Free agent and pre-draft visits? Unlikely. A full set of on-field practices in May/June? Ditto. An on-time reporting window to training camp in late July? Hopefully. ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler reported Friday that Watson is “intrigued by” the Denver Broncos and San Francisco 49ers. Fowler also asked about the New York Jets and Miami Dolphins since both teams have a lot of draft capital, but said Watson isn’t as interested in the Jets as the other three teams. SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) — In a recent podcast interview, former 49ers quarterback Alex Smith spoke out against the treatment of fellow former 49ers QB Colin Kaepernick for kneeling in protest during the national anthem. Smith addressed the controversy on an episode of the 10 Questions With Kyle Brandt podcast released Wednesday.
