Late-night talk show host and frequent President Trump critic Jimmy Kimmel had a few choice words for the president’s oldest son Friday, calling Donald Trump Jr. an “imbecile” who does little more than tweeting. In an interview aired Friday on “Good Morning America,” Mr. Kimmel addressed Mr. Trump Jr.’s recent attacks against him for not addressing the Harvey Weinstein scandal on his show sooner. The first son criticized Mr. Kimmel, who has spoken out on his show about controversial topics like gun control and health care, for not addressing the numerous sexual harassment allegations against the disgraced Hollywood mogul immediately after the news initially broke. “He’s an idiot, let’s just start with that,” Mr. Kimmel fired back during his interview. “This is an imbecile whose job seems to be tweeting as far as I can tell.” “Harvey Weinstein is … not a friend of mine,” the late-night … [Read more...] about Jimmy Kimmel: Donald Trump Jr. an ‘idiot,’ ‘imbecile’ whose job is to tweet
Trump to Hannity: NFL Players 'Cannot Disrespect Our Country, Our Flag or Our Anthem' Tucker Rips Hollywood, NBC, NY Prosecutor Over Weinstein Scandal Late night television host Jimmy Kimmel has made headlines in recent weeks with emotional monologues about health care and gun control. In the wake of dozens of sexual harassment allegations against Hollywood mogul Harvey Weinstein, Lisa Boothe is wondering why Kimmel hasn't come out with a "passionate speech" on this topic. "He has been silent," Boothe said on "Outnumbered" today. "Crickets." She also called Hillary Clinton a hypocrite for repeatedly speaking about women's issues and women's empowerment, but then remaining silent about the Weinstein allegations for five days after the story broke. Boothe noted that NBC spent hours reporting on President Donald Trump's infamous "Access Hollywood" tape, yet they canned the bombshell report about Weinstein. "All of these individuals are complete frauds," Boothe said. Watch more … [Read more...] about Lisa Boothe: Where’s Jimmy Kimmel’s ‘Passionate Speech’ About Harvey Weinstein?
In the movie "Forrest Gump," the vulnerable character Jenny is violently smacked by her unlikable and smug hippie boyfriend Wesley, the fictitious head of the Berkeley’s Students for a Democratic Society. Thankfully Forrest, resplendent in full military dress and wearing his fresh Medal of Honor, intervenes and pummels Wesley, stopping the abuse. Wesley later half-apologizes to Jenny saying “things got a little out of hand…it’s just this war, and that lying son of a bitch [President] Johnson!” Talk about misdirection! This scene came to mind when I read Harvey Weinstein’s inane explanation on Thursday, October 5 of his past abuse of women. He had the temerity to blame shift away from his own behavior to…wait for it…the NRA. Perhaps I shouldn’t be surprised as Hollywood liberals love to castigate America’s largest and oldest civil rights organization. But Harvey’s statement took the … [Read more...] about Hey, Harvey Weinstein, what on earth does the NRA have to do with your mistreatment of women?
Sarah Silverman had assumed Hillary Clinton would trounce Donald Trump to become the first female president of the United States last year. But as the results poured in on Nov. 9, Silverman realized Clinton would lose.“The night of the election I understood survivalists because I actually thought, I need a gun to protect myself from the government when the government comes,” she told BuzzFeed News at the Television Critics Association summer press tour in Beverly Hills. “It was like, Oh! That's how all these people have been feeling with the Obama administration, which, to me is progress, but to other people that progress meant fear and terror. Whether that fear is founded or unfounded, I suddenly understood it.”It was a pivotal moment for Silverman, who used that realization to fuel her new show, I Love You, America, which Hulu describes as “a weekly, topical series.” Both Hulu and Silverman are wary of positioning I Love You, America as a … [Read more...] about Sarah Silverman’s New Show Aims To Unite A Fractured United States
Maybe one day Matt Damon will make it onto Jimmy Kimmel's couch. As Chris Hemsworth was promoting Thor: Ragnarok on Jimmy Kimmel Live! Tuesday, the actor revealed director Taika Waititi and co-star Mark Ruffalo were watching backstage. Kimmel praised Ruffalo's character, calling it "the best version" he's ever seen. "I liked the previous versions of The Hulk—not all of them," he said. Sometimes The Hulk can be too fake looking."Hemsworth agreed, saying, "The technology's advanced, and Taika said, 'Don't do what we've done before.' And Mark, on many occasions, looked at me and said, 'Are we wrecking this film?'" The camera cut to Ruffalo, who was ready for the premiere across the street at the El Capitan Theatre. "I love this Hulk," the host said. "This is a beautiful Hulk you've put together." Jokingly, he told Ruffalo, "It's weird to see you in clothes—usually you're all naked and ripped."As Hemsworth said he's grown "close" with Ruffalo, Damon snuck into the frame … [Read more...] about Matt Damon Crashes Chris Hemsworth’s Jimmy Kimmel Live! Tomi Lahren Takes on Michelle Obama's Criticism of Female Trump Voters Tomi Lahren: I'm So Sick of Celebs, Elitists Looking Down on Gun Owners Tomi Lahren: Las Vegas Victims Were Americans, Not Democrats or Republicans In her newest Final Thoughts commentary, Tomi Lahren takes on the Hollywood left's response to sexual harassment allegations against producer Harvey Weinstein... Oh, it’s time for Final Thoughts and I have a question for the self-righteous Hollywood liberals. Why so silent on your boy Harvey Weinstein? Seems to me a powerful white man with a long history of sexual harassment would be at the top of your attack list. But not this time. I wonder why. Could it be because Harvey Weinstein is one of your own? Could it be the wealth, power and longtime support for the Democratic Party that has your tongue? Over the last 25 years he’s given about $800,000 to your candidates and causes so I’m not surprised. Where was Jimmy Kimmel when the story first … [Read more...] about Tomi Lahren’s Final Thoughts: Hollywood Liberals Silent on Harvey Weinstein

CBS/YouTube Since The New York Times published a bombshell report last week filled with sexual harassment accusations against film producer Harvey Weinstein, most late-night hosts had kept quiet — until Monday. "The Late Show" host Stephen Colbert didn't hold back in his jokes about Weinstein. “If you’re not familiar," Colbert said, "Harvey Weinstein is responsible for 'The English Patient,' 'Good Will Hunting,' 'Shakespeare in Love,' and other movies your mom liked in the '90s." Colbert mentioned that Weinstein was fired from his own company over the scandal, and that more stories are coming out, including one from a TV journalist who told the Huffington Post that Weinstein pleasured himself in front of her and ejaculated into a potted plant. “Pro … [Read more...] about Stephen Colbert mocks Harvey Weinstein’s apology, and calls his behavior ‘monstrous’
