‘Bad News For The Free World’: Iran, China Ink Cooperation Agreement For 25 Years
China and Iran, both under U.S. sanctions, signed a 25-year cooperation agreement Saturday, which will help Iran counter U.S. sanctions and increase Chinese influence in the region. The “Comprehensive Strategic Partnership” was inked at a Saturday afternoon meeting between Iran’s Foreign Minister Javad Zarif and China’s Foreign minister Wang Yi, who landed in Tehran Friday for a two-day visit as part of his Middle East trip, the Iranian state-run Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) reported . Iran and China have been working on the accord since Chinese President Xi Jinping’s 2016 visit to Iran, Al Jazeera reported . The countries also pledged to boost bilateral trade 10-times higher than current levels, up to $600 billion in the subsequent decade, according to the outlet. NFL Inks Television Deals Totaling More than $100 Billion
The NFL lost millions due to the pandemic in 2020, but they’ll make billions over the next decade with a slew of TV rights deals announced on Thursday. The deal amounts to a $113 billion agreement that will last 11 years. The agreement will keep NFL games on ESPN/ABC, Fox, CBS, NBC, Amazon, and NFL Network through the 2033 season. For the fans, much of the new deal will look like the old deal. According to Pro Football Talk : NBC will continue to show Sunday Night Football . ESPN will continue to show Monday Night Football . FOX will continue to show the NFC on Sunday afternoons. CBS will continue to show the AFC on Sunday afternoons. Amazon, which previously had the rights only to simulcast Thursday Night Football on Prime Video, will now have the NFL’s first all-digital TV package with Thursday night games exclusively available through Amazon. Quiet through COVID-19, Denver’s Block 162 office tower has inked its first lease and it’s a big one
After a challenging 12 months, Block 162, Denver’s 11th tallest building , is nearly ready to open. And when it does, the 30-story, 452-foot office tower’s developers have a 60,000-square-foot lease in their back pocket. Denver-based law firm Sherman & Howard finalized a deal this week to take on the 23rd and 24th floors, relocating its headquarters from 633 17th St., representatives of the firm and developer Patrinely Group and told The Denver Post.
