Martin Frank Delaware News Journal Published 3:10 PM EST Dec 30, 2018 LANDOVER, Md. – The Eagles will have three injured players on the field today in left tackle Jason Peters, center Jason Kelce and middle linebacker Jordan Hicks. All three were listed as questionable heading into the game after missing practice time with injuries. Peters left in the first quarter last week with a quadriceps injury and didn't return. Kelce missed practice Wednesday and Thursday with a knee injury. Eagles certain they'll be 'a problem' in NFL playoffs; they just have to get in And Hicks missed practice Thursday with a calf injury. It was the same injury that forced him to miss four games before returning last week against Houston. The second day of Alabama-LSU week saw a perfect afternoon for practice in Tuscaloosa. Comfortable temperature, clear sky. Just a nice day.Anyway, what we saw:-- Jalen Hurts was again out there throwing with the quarterbacks but was not doing any the drills requiring mobility. He's still a little more than a week away from spraining his ankle at Tennessee and having surgery to help it.-- Tua Tagovailoa continued to look fine with the sprained knee that was an issue the last two games. He said Monday everything was fine and he was doing all the drills in the limited media viewing period. When he was hurt, he wasn't doing the drill where he threw from his knees but is back doing it again.-- DeVonta Smith looked to be more mobile as he comes back from the hamstring injury. He was running short routes required of the drill we were able to see. He missed the Tennessee game and there haven't been many updates to his status since. PHILADELPHIA -- The Eagles have the option to bring back two players from injured reserve as early as this week. With several players on the injury list, important roster decisions will need to be made in the coming days. That includes tight end Richard Rodgers (knee) and wide receivers Mack Hollins (groin) and Mike Wallace (leg). The team is evaluating its injured group in order to determine which two players will get the opportunity to return to the lineup. "Richard Rodgers is one of those guys," Eagles coach Doug Pederson said during his press conference on Monday. "Mack Hollins is there.
