What's the best Mother's Day gift? Simply spending time with your mom is the top choice, according to 24 percent of Americans responding to a CBS News poll. Flowers are a close second at 22 percent, followed by just being thankful, giving respect, and love (10 percent). Male respondents picked flowers (28 percent) as their top choice in a gift to get mom, but for women, it's spending time together (33 percent). Other choices: Something from the heart, meaningful or homemade (six percent); a meal (five percent); jewelry (five percent); giving her rest by helping around the house (or just being "good" (four percent); or a card or letter (three percent).
