ORLANDO, Florida — Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR) told Breitbart News exclusively that the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) spreading cash to Hollywood studios precludes a lot of them from casting CCP-aligned Chinese Communists as the bad guys in movies. Cotton made the comments in an exclusive interview with Breitbart News at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) here, a sold-out event hosted this weekend by the American Conservative Union (ACU). Cotton argued that back during the Cold War, Hollywood studios regularly cast Soviet Union-aligned Communists as the villain in movies. But in modern times, Hollywood studios are not doing similar casting with regard to CCP-aligned villain characters. NEW YORK (AP) — When drained of glamour, what’s left of the Golden Globes? That’s one of the biggest questions heading into the 78th annual awards on Sunday night. The show, postponed two months from its usual early-January perch, will have little of what makes the Globes one of the frothiest and glitziest events of the year. Due to the pandemic, there will be no parade of stars down the red carpet outside the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, California. Dogwalker In Lady Gaga Shooting Describes ‘A Very Close Call With Death’
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA) – A dogwalker who was shot and seriously wounded during the volent theft of two of singer Lady Gaga’s French bulldogs last week in Hollywood made his first public statement Monday. Ryan Fischer, 30, wrote on Instagram that he is continuing to recover “from a very close call with death” and described being grateful to have survived. LOS ANGELES (CBSLA) — Lady Gaga says she is heartsick Friday, two days after her French bulldogs were taken in a robbery that left her dog walker hospitalized with gunshot wounds. The shooting and robbery happened Wednesday night in the 1500 block of North Sierra Bonita Avenue, just off Sunset Boulevard. Her dogwalker, Ryan Fischer, was shot, but is expected to survive.
