DONORA, Pa. (KDKA) — State police are still trying to find who killed a man inside a Donora convenience store. Officials say 28-year-old Nicholas Tarpley was killed inside Anna Lee’s Convenience Store on Allen Avenue on Wednesday. Tarpley was part-owner and working when he was killed. Police feel someone knows something. “Right now, we’re looking into some leads to help possibly identify a suspect or suspects,” Trooper Robert Broadwater said. CHICAGO (CBS) — A baby was found safe Thursday inside a locked car that was towed to the impound lot after police said a father parked it illegally downtown. As CBS 2 Political Investigator Dana Kozlov reported exclusively, Chicago Police said the father left the car parked in a tow zone in front of a fire hydrant on Michigan Avenue at Randolph Street, near the 150 N. Michigan Ave. building, when a city tow truck hooked it up and hauled it away. Dallas Police Charge 20-Year-Old Vivianna Alvarez With Shooting Murder Of Jonathan Wernhammer
DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) — Just before the lunch hour on February 24 Dallas police received a call about a shooting at the Hilton Garden Inn along Pacific Avenue. When officers arrived they found a 38-year old man, later identified as Jonathan Wernhammer, lying on the floor of his apartment. He had been shot several times. Del’s Lemonade Plans To Open First Boston-Area Store This Spring
ARLINGTON (CBS) — A favorite frozen treat based in Rhode Island is coming to the Boston area. Del’s Lemonade is planning to open in Arlington sometime this spring. The new location will be on Massachusetts Avenue just off the Minuteman Bikeway. The goal is to open sometime in April or May. “Arlington will be the first brick and mortar in the Boston area, and we couldn’t be more delighted to make this our flagship store!” Del’s told WBZ-TV on Friday.
