There’s still plenty of madness left in Mad Max: Fury Road helmer George Miller, who, at the tender age of 70—after an Oscar-winning detour into the family-friendly Babe and Happy Feet franchises—is about to unleash the most unrelenting, eyeball-searing, wall-to-wall, ultraviolent action opus Hollywood has seen in years. Fourteen years in the making. $150 million. 3,500 panels of storyboard planning, inked before he had a script. Over eight months of filming—first in Australia, where unprecedented rains turned his desert locations into non-Mad Max friendly flowerlands, then amongst the massive sand dunes of Namibia. 120 days of pulling off large-scale, mostly practical stunts. 480 hours of footage whittled down to a 114-minute cut, then tested. And tested. And tested. “I thought I was done on the first [movie],” Miller admitted Wednesday night in Los Angeles after an early screening of Fury Road, the fourth in the film series that started in 1979 … [Read more...] about Inside The Madness of ‘Mad Max: Fury Road’s George Miller

close Video Report: Mason Rudolph won’t file criminal charges against Myles Garrett 'Fox & Friends' co-host Brian Kilmeade weighs in on hot topics in the NFL and his new book 'Sam Houston and the Alamo Avengers.' As a former NFL safety who spent five seasons getting banged up, bruised and more seriously injured in America’s most violent team sport, I share the outrage of millions of fans over the inexcusable assault committed on the field Thursday by Cleveland Browns star defensive end Myles Garrett. I support the NFL’s decision to suspend Garrett without pay for at least the rest of this season and postseason (if the Browns have a postseason), and possibly longer. He was dead wrong to pull off the helmet of Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Mason Rudolph and then use the helmet as a weapon to hit Rudolph on top of his unprotected head. Garrett’s action triggered a brawl between players on both teams in the final seconds of their nationally … [Read more...] about Jack Brewer: Punish Cleveland Browns’ Myles Garrett, but don’t charge him with a crime
Climategate was the biggest scandal in the history of climate science. Modesty forbids me from identifying the guy who broke the story in the mainstream media — ten years ago this month — took it viral on the internet and brought it to worldwide prominence. Sorry, but I refuse to name the handsome, brave, witty, intelligent, funny, clever, spectacularly endowed, bravura writer, beloved parent, adored husband, and skilled horseman responsible for this veritable Scoop of the Century, if not the Millennium. No, absolutely not. Only from my cold, dead hands will you ever prise this secret information. Unless, maybe, you twist my arm just a tiny bit more and — Yeah, all right. I admit it. That godlike hero was me. Of course, if you believe the mainstream media, Climategate was little more than a fake news story concocted by a small cabal of wicked deniers in order to discredit the noble cause of climate science. This is a lie and a particularly dangerous lie at that. If we … [Read more...] about Delingpole: Climategate 10 Years On – The Bastards Have Got Away With It!
