Andrew Wolfson Louisville Courier Journal Published 1:21 p.m. UTC Jun 15, 2018 Correction: This story has been updated to reflect that Dr. Bates' license could be restricted or suspended in addition to being revoked if the board decides to take action against her. Its ads are slapped over every urinal in the KFC Yum Center, and inside the stalls of every women’s restroom. Its commercials on sports talk radio promise you'll “Look younger, become healthier and feel 25 Again." The pitch has been so successful that Body Shapes Medical, which has eight locations serving as many as 4,000 patients in Louisville, Lexington, Cincinnati and Southern Indiana, has changed its name to just that — “25 Again.” Patients swear by it — and by its medical director, Dr. Elizabeth Veeneman Bates. Gina Helms in a written statement said she was "nearly suicidal” before she enrolled as a member and now “feels human again.” … [Read more...] about ’25 Again’ doctor’s license on the line in attack on hormone therapy
