A dog found on the verge of death in January has recovered and is getting ready to be adopted into a caring family in Louisville, Kentucky. When the dog, named Ethan, was found in the Kentucky Humane Society’s ( KHS ) parking lot, many people wanted to give him the home he deserved, WLKY reported Thursday. In a Facebook post on January 29, the shelter posted photos of Ethan after he was abandoned outside its facility. “Someone dropping off wish list donations saw the dog and alerted staff, who rushed him to our Veterinary Services department. We immediately began working to try to save his life, warming him with heated blankets and warm IV fluids,” the post read: DYING DOG DUMPED AT KHS: Today around 12 pm, a dying dog was left in the KHS parking lot. Work-at-home will stay in play long after the pandemic recedes
After years of slowly easing toward remote work arrangements, companies and their employees had to take the plunge fully clothed in March. Animal welfare groups knew that they would no longer be able to safely have their armies of volunteers come into their shelters every … [Read more...] about Animal Rescue Organizations Say Pandemic Has Changed Their Industry For The Better
