The fall 2018 couture shows, which came to a close on Thursday (yes, during the summer) in Paris, were no exception. There were breathtakingly beautiful gowns from Zuhair Murad and Elie Saab, puzzling layers (and ankle-strap phone holders) at Maison Margiela, very, very big hair at Valentino and a whole lot of fuzzy pink ensembles across the board. At Givenchy, we also saw yet another gorgeous collection from Clare Waight Keller ― the woman behind the Duchess of Sussex’s instantly iconic wedding gown. UPDATED: UM Curators vote to increase tuition for fall 2018
The UM System Board of Curators voted unanimously Monday to increase tuition and fees at its four campuses for fall 2018.“Even with this increase, our campuses have reduced other costs so that the overall cost to students remains low,” UM System President Mun Choi said.The board approved a 2.1 percent increase, which reflects inflation rates and is the maximum allowable by law. However, in-state undergraduates will only see a 1 percent increase. The 2.1 percent increase applies to graduate students, out-of-state and international students.However, professional school students could see tuition increases anywhere from 1.2 to 6 percent depending on the program. EKU to offer online accounting degree beginning Fall 2018
RICHMOND, Ky. (May 2, 2018)—Beginning this fall, Eastern Kentucky University will be the first Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) International-accredited program in Kentucky to offer a fully online degree in accounting. Applications are now being accepted for the bachelor’s of business administration degree with a concentration in public accounting. In addition, an online certificate in accounting will be available for those who have a bachelor’s degree in another field.
