A single-car crash in Exeter, New Hampshire, on Wednesday night left two people dead and one seriously injured, according to New Hampshire State Police. Aaron Lafontaine, 28, of Manchester, was driving a 2000 Volkswagen Jetta westbound on Route 101 in the area of Exit 9 when he lost control, veered off the roadway, and rolled over around 8:40 p.m., police said in a release. Both passengers — Rebecca Lafontaine, 39, of Manchester, and a 14-year-old girl — died as a result of the crash. Rebecca Lafontaine was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police. The 14-year-old girl was transported to Exeter Hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries shortly after arrival. Aaron Lafontaine was first brought to Portsmouth Regional Hospital with life-threatening injuries. He was then transferred by medical helicopter to Massachusetts General Hospital, authorities said.
