LOS ANGELES (CBSLA) — Fifteen years after Brandy the cat went missing, the long-lost feline was identified by a Palmdale animal control officer and reunited with her owner. Last Sunday, officer Luis Leal from the Los Angeles County Department of Animal Care and Control received a field call to assist an injured stray cat on the front porch of a Palmdale home. The cat was brought to the Palmdale Animal Care Center, where she received medical care and was found to be alert, healthy and friendly. ‘It’s A Potato’: Hasbro Drops ‘Mr.’ From 70-Year-Old Potato Head Doll
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA/AP) — Mr. Potato Head, a child’s toy perhaps best known from Disney’s “Toy Story” franchise, is going gender neutral. Hasbro, the company that makes the 70-year-old potato-shaped plastic toy, is giving the spud a new name: Potato Head. The change will appear on boxes this year.
