The No. 27 jersey on the Denver South football sideline this season contains a special power. The player that formerly wore it, Davarie Armstrong, is gone, a tragic victim of senseless gun violence last summer. ( CBS DFW ) — Many Americans are wondering about a fourth stimulus check, even as the third round of economic relief continues to arrive. Around 159 million payments of up to $1,400 per person have been issued over the last month. Paper checks and EIP cards continue to arrive by mail. The stimulus package also extends unemployment benefits, strengthens the child tax credit, and much more. The recent round of checks follows the $1,200 CARES Act payments at the pandemic’s outset and the $600 payments in early January.
