EKU Online enrollment up 13% in 2018
RICHMOND, Ky. – Eastern Kentucky University has 13 percent more students enrolled in EKU Online programs compared to a year ago. The growth, from 3,002 to 3,399, is attributed to new program offerings, increased interest in degree completion and sustained enrollment in foundational programs. “Students should be and are researching schools that offer exceptional value for the tuition they are paying,” said Dr. Deborah Whitehouse, interim senior vice president for academics and provost. “Many are finding that EKU Online is an exceptional value given price and quality.” Five new online degree programs were launched in 2018. EKU introduces military-friendly tuition rates for active duty students
RICHMOND, Ky. — Eastern Kentucky University, which has a distinguished history as a military-friendly school, is increasing the benefits it offers to members of the military. Effective immediately, tuition will be substantially reduced for active duty service members. Active duty service members on federal orders for at least 180 days are eligible for EKU’s Military Reduced Tuition, which is $250 per credit hour for undergraduate courses and $325 per credit hour for graduate courses. In addition, students will remain eligible to qualify for federal financial aid and have the opportunity to use their GI Bill benefits to cover any remaining costs. The reduced tuition rate will make education possible for service members on active duty, regardless of where they are located. EKU to offer online accounting degree beginning Fall 2018
RICHMOND, Ky. (May 2, 2018)—Beginning this fall, Eastern Kentucky University will be the first Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) International-accredited program in Kentucky to offer a fully online degree in accounting. Applications are now being accepted for the bachelor’s of business administration degree with a concentration in public accounting. In addition, an online certificate in accounting will be available for those who have a bachelor’s degree in another field.
