(CNN)It's been a long time coming, but finally Brooks Koepka is a winner again. Having dealt with debilitating injuries for 18 months which have hampered his ability to take to the golf course, the four-time major winner hit a final-round 65 to win the PGA Tour's Phoenix Open by a shot over Xander Schauffele and Kyoung-Hoon Lee on Sunday. Koepka made two eagles to overcome a five-shot deficit, going five-under for the last six holes to claim his first win since the FedEx St. Jude Invitational in 2019. And after returning to winning ways, Koepka admitted that there were points during his recovery period where he even began to doubt whether he'd make a comeback. "There was a period maybe for about two months where I just questioned whether I was ever going to be the same," the 30-year-old, who has struggled with knee and hip injuries, said after winning his second Phoenix Open as he broke a run of three straight missed cuts. BOSTON (CBS) — During his Monday Zoom session from Fort Myers, Red Sox manager Alex Cora revealed that retired second baseman Dustin Pedroia addressed the team at Spring Training (remotely, of course). Cora believes that Pedroia’s message made an impact on Boston’s current players, and now we’re getting a brief glimpse of what Pedroia had to say to the group. “Saved by the Bell” star Dustin Diamond died Monday after a three-week fight with carcinoma, according to his representative. He was 44. “Dustin did not suffer. He did not have to lie submerged in pain. For that, we are grateful,” the actor’s spokesman, Roger Paul, said in a statement. Diamond, best known for playing Screech on the hit ’90s sitcom, was hospitalized last month in Florida and his team disclosed later that he had cancer. “Saved by the Bell” aired from 1989 to 1993, and its related shows included “Saved by the Bell: The College Years,” “Good Morning, Miss Bliss” and “Saved by the Bell: The New Class,” which Diamond starred in. A sequel was launched on Peacock last fall featuring many from the original cast, including Elizabeth Berkley, Mario Lopez, Tiffani Thiessen and Mark-Paul Gosselaar. Diamond was not included.
