The store’s general manager had placed the sign “based on her own personal judgment” to address a “customer service and satisfaction issue,” Dunkin’ Donuts said in a statement to The Baltimore Sun. The statement said that the franchise owner found the sign to be “inappropriate” and had it removed. A Dunkin Donuts sign is seen May 13, 2004 in New York City. Two young New York girls flipped a car on a joyride to Dunkin Donuts, but were miraculously unharmed. Police say two sisters, ages 10 and 12, crashed a white SUV in Castleton Corners on Staten Island on Thursday afternoon. The vehicle hit parked cars before flipping on its side. Witnesses said that the 10-year-old girl, dressed in pink, was driving the car. "How their foot reached the pedal is beyond me. I'll never understand it," witness Mary McLean told CBS. "Everyone was just like 'Really? Really? These two little girls did this? Were they speeding? How'd they flip?'" A witness who worked at a nearby bagel shop told WABC that he rushed to help when he saw the SUV on its side, but found no one inside. "I looked in the back window, looked in the front, there was nobody in the car," Giovanni Biscello said. "I said, 'Where are the drivers?' I turned around, two little girls standing by the fence, they were both crying and I found out they were … [Read more...] about NY girls, ages 10 and 12, flip SUV on joyride to Dunkin Donuts
