The latest, “The Old Man and The Gun” starring Robert Redford, is now showing in theaters.Here are some notable movies that have been filmed in the region: Filmed in 2007 True Nature “True Nature,” a supernatural thriller, was filmed entirely in the Dayton and Springfield areas and produced by two Wright State University graduates. The film, which premiered in 2010, was played at more than 40 festivals around the world and is available on DVD and streaming services such as Netflix and Amazon Instant Video. A Biddeford rapper is offering free tickets to a screening Saturday afternoon of “Sorry to Bother You” at Portland’s Nickelodeon Cinemas.
