NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — At least one New York lawmaker is hinting towards a possible run for governor. Long Island Congressman Lee Zeldin says he is weighing his options while also calling on the governor to step down. “I am actively exploring running for governor in 2022 against Andrew Cuomo ,” Zeldin said. “I don’t believe that the governor should be re-elected to a fourth term. FEMA-Run Mass COVID-19 Vaccination Site Opens At Pennsylvania Convention Center
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – A new COVID-19 mass vaccination site officially opened Wednesday morning at the Pennsylvania Convention Center. The site opened at 8 a.m. and will stay open 12 hours a day, seven days a week for the next eight weeks. It’s all in an effort to give Philadelphia a fighting chance against the coronavirus. 17-Year-Old Girl Found Dead Along Sonora Highway Was Hit-And-Run Victim, CHP Says
SONORA (CBS13) — Authorities say the teenage girl who was found dead along Highway 49 over the weekend was the victim of a hit-and-run. California Highway Patrol officers say the 17-year-old girl was found in a ditch near O’Hara Drive late Sunday afternoon. She had suffered major injuries and officers who responded to the scene suspect she was hit by a vehicle that took off from the scene. Medics pronounced the girl dead at the scene, CHP says.
